Purpose

Move sketch entities directly and expose quick fixed, horizontal, vertical, distance, or radius controls for supported selections.

Where to find it

While editing a sketch, open Modify and choose Transform.

Selection

Tap an entity; drag supported geometry or use the contextual controls shown for its type.

Steps

Select an entity.
Drag it to reposition, or apply the available quick constraint or dimension action.

Options

Set Fixed / Remove Fixed

Locks or unlocks all supported degrees of freedom for the selected entity.

Horizontal / Vertical

Adds the corresponding orientation constraint to a selected line.

Available when: Shown for lines.

Distance

Adds a length dimension to a selected line.

Available when: Shown for lines.

Radius

Adds a radius dimension to a selected circle.

Available when: Shown for circles.

Result

The selected geometry or its constraint set updates directly in the active sketch.

Editing

Undo the change, drag again, or edit/remove the resulting constraints and dimensions.

Troubleshooting

The entity will not move.

Remove Fixed or conflicting dimensions and constraints before dragging.
