Settings, input, and access

Configure units, number formatting, input behavior, appearance, analytics, and purchased access.

Project and app settings

Project Setup controls the active project name, unit, input, and supported package settings. App Settings controls general appearance, language and decimal preferences, analytics, and purchase access. Changing a project unit converts displayed lengths without changing the physical model or the meaning of saved expressions. If the model cannot rebuild, the unit change is rejected and the project keeps its prior unit. New Box, Cylinder, Extrude, common modifier, and Sketch tool drafts start with round values in the selected unit. A unit change while a Model command is open leaves its current physical value alone; cancel and reopen the command to use the new unit's defaults. Review any unfinished Sketch draft after changing units before applying it.

The default Sketch grid follows the active project's unit: for example, 10 mm, 1 cm, or 0.25 in. A Grid Size you chose manually remains the same physical spacing when you open a project with another unit.

Input devices

Sketch Input configures supported touch and Apple Pencil behavior. Pointer, trackpad, and keyboard controls appear where the connected environment supports them. Use the shared numeric editor for formulas and precise values; Return applies valid input and Cancel preserves the previous value. A typed length commits at the value shown by the keypad, even when it falls between Precision increments. On numeric controls, drag the striped area horizontally to adjust the displayed value. Move vertically within it to change the drag precision. Precision affects adjustment steps and readout formatting; it does not silently round a typed length. Length values follow the project's Units setting, including after a drag ends.

Demo and unlocked access

The demo plan provides the visible stable modeling and sketching tools with usage limits on projects, committed modeling features, and exports. Purchased access removes those limits and enables workflows such as duplication, project package sharing, and optional preview watermark removal. Use Restore Purchases when an existing purchase is not recognized.
